Dr. Mahesh Chavda grew up in Mombassa, Kenya, the son of a prominent Hindu teacher. At the  tender age of 16 Mahesh had a dramatic encounter with Christ during which he was taken to  heaven in a powerful dream. Following this encounter Mahesh committed his heart to the Savior. Since that time God has continued to use him in the power of the gospel and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Mahesh received his undergraduate degree from Wayland Baptist University, did graduate work at Texas Tech, and received his doctorate from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College.

Dr. Mahesh Chavda is the founder and president of Mahesh Chavda Ministries and senior pastor of All Nations Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. An International evangelist, Mahesh and his wife Bonnie have led more than 750,000 people to Christ around the globe. They also oversee the worldwide "Watch of the Lord" prayer movement and conduct training conferences that teach Christians to watch and pray and do the works of Jesus and to move in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He has authored several books including The Watch of the Lord, Only Love Can Make A Miracle, The Hidden Power of Prayer and Fasting, The Hidden Power of Speaking in Tongues, The Hidden Power of the Believer’s Touch and his latest The Hidden Power of the Blood of Jesus. The Chavda's and their four children reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
